Hey Lovers!

So I just wanted to take a minute to share a little bit about my first wedding since the wildness of COVID-19 hit. I had the honor of photographing the elopement of Ashley and Major at Plum Point Park, New Windsor, NY. The ceremony was officiated by Reverend Richard Rodriguez. You can learn more information and read some reviews about him here. It was a beautiful, intimate and happy ceremony as well as being short and sweet. We also couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful summer day. This couple will be celebrating their wedding next year with a larger scale ceremony and reception with their family and friends.

I am honestly loving this new wave of intimate weddings, however, it’s also truly heartbreaking to see couples having to postpone their big days and have to replan everything on a smaller scale. The good thing about these smaller scale elopement ceremonies is that they take some of the pressure off of the couple to perform for a larger scale ceremony (because we all know that large weddings can feel like one big show at times). Couples can be a little more relaxed, be more themselves and just let their love and emotions flow a little more naturally.

I am so proud of all of you couples who are making the best out of your elopements and replanning. You guys are so resilient! Keep letting that love FLOW. Check out the highlights of Ashlee and Major’s elopement at Plum Point Park with their sweet family. Thanks for stopping by!
