MY NAME IS Crystal, AKA Crys
I can be a little bit introverted at first, but once you get to know me, I’m a free spirited, funny and sassy Sagittarius. I'm a proud New York City native (now residing and based in the gorgeous Hudson Valley) and a struggling Mets fan; a city girl to the core! Sky scrapers, pizza on the go and city lights are home to me. I also love to be one with nature or a total beach bum. Nothing beats a beautiful autumn hike or a warm, breezy day at the beach.
I'm married and deeply in love with my best friend and soulmate, Bryan. We have been married for 14 years, a couple for 17 and parents for over 8! Over the years, we have learned that love evolves, but if it’s true, never fades. I want that to reflect in your photos! My goal is to capture images of you that will stand the test of time. Love is such a wonderful gift; your photos should reflect that.

Crys Torres Photography was founded with the goal of documenting the most meaningful and beautiful moments of your lives. My purpose is not to “create” magic, but to document the magic that already exists in you. I would like to help you feel more confident to step into it as your special moments unfold. I'm here to deliver beautiful, timeless imagery that you can pass down to generations to come.

WHAT INSPIRES ME
Here's a little glimpse into my life and some of my favorite things. No matter who we are or where we find ourselves, we're all souls journeying through this beautiful world, each with a unique story to tell. No two tales are alike, and that's precisely why I'm so passionate about documenting love stories—hopefully, including yours!
When I'm not shooting, you can catch me painting, snuggling with my cats (while thinking about how I can successfully sneak a dog into the house without my husband noticing..), enjoying family time and traveling any chance I get. I love trying new foods from different places and experimenting with new recipes; food is definitely one of my love languages! I also love plants; I own nearly 20 houseplants at this point (for me, thats a lot, ha) Traveling and gaining new experiences keeps me going as well.
